Auras no. 1 is an initial color exploration in my work
with acrylic mixed mediums. Strong strokes carry
movement and flow
through each of the five prints, culminating in the series altogether.

With saturated tones sweeping across
a neutral textured landscape,
Ximeno represents the dynamic environment of California.
With each individual canvas representing my personal
division between North
and South CA, the piece
comes together to form
a continuous snapshot
of the state’s diverse
landscape.
